The Underachievers (1988)

Hey! I have this one right here! Starring Edward Albert and Barbara Carrera, Jefferson Hawthorne High starts a night school for adults. Now there's a great premise for a movie. And of course, the school's science teacher is played by none other than our own Jewel Shepard! I think one of her most often-published photos is the one of her in a Star trek uniform from this movie, as shown below! She's eager to devote her body to science, and she does just that. Unfortunately, the guys she thinks are aliens...aren't! You'd think they'd act like gentlemen and inform her of her mistake! And Leonard Maltin continues his streak un-broken! Another great Jewel Shepard film passed up.
